1. Scope of Agreement
This website is provided to share information about Kurt Wedekind’s campaign for federal office, to facilitate lawful contributions to the Campaign, and to communicate with supporters. (a) Contribution Eligibility
By contributing, you confirm that:
You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder);
Your contribution is made from your own funds and not provided by another person or entity;
You are not making this contribution on behalf of a corporation, labor organization, federal contractor, or foreign national;
You are at least 18 years old;
The funds are not from the treasury of any entity or organization.
(b) Contribution Limits
Federal law allows individuals to contribute up to the legally permitted amount per election cycle (currently $3,300 per election for the 2025–2026 cycle, subject to change). Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, and federal government contractors are prohibited.
(c) Payment Processing
All contributions are processed securely through our payment partners (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, or WinRed). By submitting a contribution, you authorize the Campaign to charge your designated payment method.
(d) Refund Policy
Federal election law requires all contributions to be voluntary and final. Contributions are non-refundable unless made in error or not in compliance with FEC rules. If you believe an error occurred, please contact us at kurtwedekind@gmail.com within 30 days of your transaction.
3. Privacy and Data Use
We value your privacy. Information collected on this website (such as your name, address, email, phone number, and occupation/employer details required by the FEC) will be used solely for lawful campaign purposes, such as processing contributions, complying with reporting requirements, and communicating with supporters.
